As the Finance Lead at a Pureflow Branch, you will support the Finance team in all aspects of finances.

Responsibilities
- Revenue Collection & Posting
- Receive cash from members, post all transactions daily and maintain accurate payment sheets and transaction records.
- Reconcile tills, prepare daily banking and rewrite receipts for members (down payments, buy-offs, etc.) as required.
- Prepare activity reports to support branch budgeting and financial planning.
- Requisitions & Payments
- Initiate requisitions for branch needs, receive funds and carry out approved spending.
- Prepare payment vouchers, and account for all disbursed funds in line with financial procedures.
- Cash Management
- Manage cash advances and petty cash for branch operations.
- Handle procurement of office supplies and minor equipment.
- Prepare launch lists for new members or loan activities and loan completion certificates for members.
- Post cheques and expenses in QuickBooks, down payments and all deposit transactions in line with revenue receipts.
- Prepare and submit revenue reports on a weekly basis.
- Loan Creation & Member Management
- Create new member loans, borrower and guarantor profiles in Loan Disc.
- Upload and register new members to the Flexipay portal.
- Calculate loan restructures and re-loans as required.
- Any other duties assigned by the Finance Manager.
Minimum Qualifications
- BSc degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics
- Proven work experience as a Finance Officer or similar role
- Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
- Experience using financial software
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Knowledge of financial regulations
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills; proven ability to prioritize and deliver on time
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as an overall ability to be clear and concise in all communications
- Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data
